A Most Uncommon Degree of Popularity

This is the very first book the Birthday Awareness Book Club is going to read: A Most Uncommon Degree of Popularity by Kathleen Gilles Seidel. This was a book gifted to all the book club members by Heidi (thanks!).

Take your time... we're pretty lax around this place. Feel free to post any questions or comments you have as you read.

This book better be good Heidi, OR ELSE!!!

  1. This is fabulous! I love the background, I love the birthday countdown thingies....it's all great. I just finished "A Sense of Self" (also mailed to me by Heidi-- and it ROCKED MY WORLD) and will now proceed to "A Most Uncommon Degree of Popularity." Hooray!

  2. Oh good! I saw the birthday countdown things and thought it was funny. And you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a blogger background with books on it... I failed obviously, but this one was pretty good too I thought. I added both of you to the email list so you get notified when someone leaves a comment. I also added you as contributors, so I think you should be able to post stuff and/or change things. But... I've never done this kind of blog before so let me know if it's all screwed up!

  3. Karen,
The Birthday Countdown is ADORABLE, ADORABLE, ADORABLE! In fact... words do not do justice to the adorableness of this whole site. It's just like adorable you to put so much thought and effort and creativity into this. Thanks EVER SO MUCH for setting up such a lovely blog site! I was already grateful to you, just for being you... but, now, I'm UNDYINGLY grateful!

More days than I'd realized have gone by since I'd last gone online... Which means I was, for several days, completely oblivious to the loveliness of all this... but, it seems, multiple comments lie in wait for me! Hooray! It's like having a full Christmas stocking just full of tantalizing lumps.

Thanks again. In my heart, you (and Rach, too) have a most uncommon degree of popularity.

    Love--Heidi Juniper (June 20th)
